A special thank you to 50 Large and their young men who helped by carrying bags for our senior citizens and the awesome volunteers who came out to
support the effort on their own time. It was a blessing to see so many people pitching in to help our neighbors. The Neighborhood Medical Center and the Bond Clinic ran various tests for those waiting in line. Cumulus Radio was an integral part of getting the message out to the community and we thank them as well.
Special Kudos to AMWAT for providing the forklift which made the distribution go more smoothly. Of course, we thank Dave and staff from Farmshare for providing us great product to distribute. Without help from another of our partners -- Living Harvest, the heat might have been more unbearable, but they supplied the ice which kept water cold for the volunteers and those waiting in line. They also had great volunteers, who pitched in wherever they were needed. We're grateful that we were able to complete all distribution and clean up by 11:30 am. Thank you Tallahassee for having great volunteers.
